I am a very happily married man, with a brilliant and beautiful wife. She is the center of my being and my reason for living. Her understanding and kindness give me hope for the human race.
I am for all intents and purposes something of a liberal.
I believe that violence poses a far greater threat to our nation than sex does. I would rather we have full frontal nudity on television rather than the wholesale butchering of humans by each other that we tend to see now.
I believe that every child should be a wanted child, that we should teach our children how to protect themselves, as well as abstaining from sex. Face it folks, they are going to experiment, let's teach them to be smart when they do.
I believe Americans should have the right to bear arms, but I also believe we should have background checks and licensing, if only to help protect those of us who follow the law instead of finding ways around it.
I love hiking in the woods and photographing nature. To allow our valued parklands to be plundered by oil and mining companies so they can charge us exhorbitant prices for the spoils of our natural wonders is to me abhorent.
I believe in God and Jesus as his son, though I do not call myself religious. In my belief, practicing Christianity means treating others with kindness, love and respect as Jesus tried to teach us to do.
I will never expect you to agree with my opinions, only to respect them, as I shall always respect the opinions of others. We are all different and see the world in different ways. That is what makes us special and unique.
